We’re excited to announce that Energy House Labs was featured on Channel 5’s primetime show, Heat Pumps: Are They Really Worth It? In the first episode, presenter Alexis Conran takes a deep dive into the world of heat pumps to assess whether these systems are truly as effective as they’re made out to be.
Our very own Professor Richard Fitton had the opportunity to guide Alexis through our state-of-the-art Energy House 2.0 facility. During the segment, they explored the latest advancements in energy efficiency, as well as the role of heat pumps in helping to achieve Net Zero housing. The conversation covered key insights into how we can keep homes warm, reduce carbon footprints, and ensure that our energy systems are sustainable for the future.
The episode also looks at how homes can be retrofitted with these technologies and the challenges that come with transitioning to more energy-efficient systems.
