Words and Pictures Poetry and Animation Festival
This is a unique opportunity to see your poems about sustainability come to life! The competition is open to all school children from school Years 3 to 8, at the time of submission.
The deadline for submissions will be midnight, Wednesday 22 January 2024.
There will be two rounds of judging. The best six poems will be selected by a panel of judges. These writers will be awarded £100 in Amazon vouchers and their poem will go on to be animated by students from the School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology at The University of Salford. They will then be shown as part of an Animation Festival to which the children, their families, students, teachers, lecturers, and industry partners will be invited.
This event has been sponsored by The Friends of Energy House 2.0 at The University of Salford.
